Adris Frety “A canvas gives me the true freedom to express my creative ideas and experiences into the language of painting.” Australian visual artist Adris Frety, an alumnus of the University of Sydney and also a founder member of CASS Australian Academic Society, is currently a Managing Director of a Company. Music and essence of a woman are his two current muses. “A woman is the ultimate representation of strength and mercy,” says Adris. “Her empathy makes the earth sweeter and her resilience is like music reverberating through time; that which is

is a metaphor of the true spirit of a woman, reaching out, spreading love, happiness and boundless compassion and he expresses this through the colour and painted strokes. A canvas gives Adris the only true and authentic freedom to express himself - the key to deciphering his most creative ideas, experiences, feelings and moments as they get translated into the language of painting. Mainly an abstract painter, he experiments with many techniques, using various mediums such as pastels, watercolours, acrylics and oils. He is inspired by his Babylonian heritage, with its mythological stories and legends that influence his art with rich symbolism. His main inspiration though comes from Mother Nature in Australia, where he currently lives.
