Dr Dana Pakrou Dana is a specialist anaesthetist working in both public and private practice on the Gold Coast with subspecialty training in cardiac, bariatric and ENT surgery. He has been working with Jason at Pindara since 2014 and together they have cared for countless patients over that time. Outside of work Dana enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys aged three and one. He also stays active and is a keen runner and cyclist making the most of the beautiful outdoor lifestyle the Gold Coast offers.
Dr Poppy Ehemann Dr Zara Summers Zara completed her medical training in 2016 at the University of Melbourne. She is currently a general surgery trainee in Brisbane and surgical assistant at Pindara Hospital with a future interest in breast and oncoplastic surgery. Outside of surgery, she loves surfing, art and design, and indoor gardening. Zara has been working with Surgery Gold Coast for three years. 38 slim magazine Winter 2022
Poppy is a General surgical and Urological PHO working on the Gold Coast. She completed her medical degree in 2019 from the University of Wollongong with an interest in rural and remote surgery. She is currently undertaking her Masters in medical research and hopes to gain a position as a formal surgical trainee next year. Poppy has been working with Dr Free assisting in theatre for the past 12 months and is currently the lead researcher at Surgery Gold Coast.
