Scottish Music Industry Association

The SMIA exists to support Scotland’s music industry and see it recognised as one of the most vibrant, influential and respected in the world. We aim to focus on two core objectives, namely: 1. Strengthen Scotland’s music industry internally. 2. Promote Scotland’s music industry both domestically and internationally. We will achieve these objectives through the deployment of three key strategies: 1. Celebrate and promote musical endeavour: 2. Stimulate growth at local, regional, national and international levels. 3. Communicate more effectively as an industry.
