COMMUNITY RESCUE SERVICE GALA BALL The Community Rescue Service (CRS) is a charitable search and rescue organisation operated by volunteers from communities across Northern Ireland. The organisation recently hosted a gala ball in the Europa Hotel, raising a grand total of £1,830. The evening included a charity auction with prizes, including a signed guitar donated by Gary Lightbody. Events such as these are important for the charity as funds can help buy emergency, life-saving equipment for missing people as well as search equipment for volunteers.
