PUTTING THE CHILDREN FIRST
King’s Park Primary and Nursery School was
established in 1936 with a prime location directly beside Lurgan Park. Over the years the school has grown and expanded with new facilities added such as our purpose built triple unit nursery block and the large Multi-Use Games Area. Our aim in King’s Park is to enable all pupils to reach their full potential in all aspects of the curriculum and to develop academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually and physically. We are an inclusive and caring school with a dedicated and professional staff who provide high quality teaching and learning for all pupils in a safe and stimulating environment. All pupils have access to ipads and laptops to aid their learning. There is an emphasis on academic excellence and we also strive to develop each individual’s talents and abilities. At King’s Park our ethos is of putting ‘CHILDREN FIRST’ and of playing a central role in our local community of Lurgan. Our mission is to: • Promote and support the Christian ethos • Value and respect each child • Create a happy, safe and secure learning environment • Challenge and stimulate each child
