Bank Square Brasserie Tucked away in one of the oldest streets in Belfast, behind the newly developed Bank Square you’ll find a hidden gem of a restaurant. Bank Square Brasserie, Berry Street. Here you’ll find a mix of great food, cheeky cocktails in a nicely chilled atmosphere. Food and drink writer Joris Minne joined Pamela Ballantine, author, broadcaster and researcher Deirdre Heenan, former Miss Ireland, Rebecca Maguire and radio presenter, Melissa Riddell along with a host of guests invited to sample the new menu. The event was organised and hosted by PR lead Cathy Martin. Mouth-watering mackerel and watermelon, scallops and Kilkeel crab and neck of lamb, join their already melt in the mouth, Irish sirloin steak and sumptuous 8oz beef burger offerings. Fear not, the restaurant offers a choice of vegan options that don’t disappoint! The team led by head chef Jonnie Boyd, who has worked in some of the best restaurants in the country. Winning 3AA Rosettes at The River Room, Galgorm and heading up a team for four years at award winning Sapphire. Jonnie is joined by partner and front of house manager, Lea Callo, alongside Conor Magee who has created the most divine cocktail list. The brasserie interior with sumptuous design features was created by BBC Interior Design Master, Interior and Wallpaper Designer, Paul Moneypenny. Alongside lunch and lunch express menus (for those in a hurry) dinner and date night menus and the much welcome Christmas lunch and dinner menus are now available. Get your table booked folks! 1.
