“Apex Clinic have restored the quality of my life!” For 32-year-old Simon Hamilton from Newtownards, life was a struggle. Severe back pain was having a devastating impact on his life. Simon, when did your back pain begin? I had been experiencing severe pain in my back since 2013. There was no obvious reason for why this began. I did badly hurt my back playing cricket when I was 15 years old but after a few months this eased. It was about 6 years later when I developed significant problems with my back. How did the pain affect your life? The pain meant that I couldn’t participate in the sports that I enjoyed playing. I had always played rugby, cricket and football.
