These classes are designed to rejuvenate the body and mind through various types of Yoga and Pilates workouts. Connecting the mind and body, core and breath, as well as movement and balance is the focus and challenge of these workouts.
Hatha Flow Yoga This widely practiced yoga style focuses on alignment using sequenced poses. Rest/relaxation is taken between poses. Emphasis of this style of yoga is on core strength, by firing the deep tissue core muscles flexibility and balance as well as awareness of the present moment and breath control. Intermediate Mat / BOSU Pilates Flat on one side and domed on the other, the unstable nature of the BOSU increases the challenge of your workout. By combining the BOSU and the STOTT Pilates movements, you will be able to gain core strength, by firing the deep tissue core muscles reinforce balance and improve stability. Previous Pilates experience is strongly recommended. Modifications for those with prior injuries and physical accommodations are available.
