Scholarship Criteria Must be enrolled full-time in an aviation/airport management program; Must have reached a junior class level or higher; Cumulative GPA of at least 3.00/4.00 (or equivalent); Selection based on scholastic achievement, financial need, and extracurricular/community activities; and Must submit transcripts.

This will be the fourth year a Boeing 737 Type Rating Scholarship will be awarded. The winner will be invited to Seattle to participate in the Boeing 737 type rating training over the course of several weeks. Once the scholarship has been awarded, and upon successful completion of the 737 type rating, and only when Alaska is actively hiring, the recipient will have an opportunity to interview for a pilot position. Scholarship Criteria Must be at least 18 years of age and involved with aviation related training, leading to a career as a professional pilot. The strength of the applicant’s commitment to supporting and bettering the LGBT community is one of the criteria established by the NGPA Education Fund in considering applicants.

Scholarship Criteria Applicants who have been enrolled in college must submit a copy of all college courses and course grades received to date, in addition to the application and required high school performance data.
