Inoltre, è 100% riciclabile e biocompatibile. Sottoposto ai test dermatologici presso l’ente dedicato dell’Università di Padova, il materiale ha dato risultati eccellenti: applicato per 24 ore su un pool di volontari, gli effetti sono stati testati immediatamente e 24 ore dopo la rimozione e nessuno dei soggetti testati ha sviluppato reazioni allergiche o irritazioni cutanee di alcun tipo. NSP è inoltre privo di Ftalati, come confermato nei test condotti in collaborazione con l’università di Pisa. The company Da Vià Luigi of Tai di Cadore (Belluno, Italy) has emerged over time for its ability to introduce relevant innovations regarding the materials used in the production of nose pads. Since its birth, this company has always been a supplier of the major manufacturers of optical products worldwide, who recognize its excellent production quality. Amongst the most successful innovations introduced in the market is NSP (Naturally Soft Pad), which was born following years of research, as an alternative to PVC. This material, compared to PVC, is softer and more comfortable on the skin, maintains its transparency over time and lasts longer. Moreover, it is 100% recyclable and biocompatible. Several major eyewear brands have already begun the transition to NSP for their models, thanks to better performance and lower environmental impact. Subjected to dermatological tests at the dedicated institution of the University of Padua, the material provided excellent results: after being applied for 24 hours on volunteers, effects on the skin were checked immediately after and again 24 hours after removal and none of the volunteers showed any allergic reaction on their skin. NSP is Phthalates free as tested by the University of Pisa.
