We recently had the pleasure of receiving the prestigious ÖGUT Environmental Award in the category "World without Waste". The Austrian Society for Environment and Technology (ÖGUT) recognized in particular Lenzing's contribution to the transformation of the textile and apparel industry from a linear to a circular economy model. The latest IPCC report shows again, that it is possible to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees, if all is done to get emissions to peak by 2025 and to reduce by 45% compared to 2010 levels. The technologies are there. Renewables are a critical part of the solutions. Across the wind industry, we are ready to scale up. We have developed the technologies needed to cut carbon emissions across the world, and we are working to deploy where we can. With more political will, we can move faster. If not now, when? #Scaleupnow
