first-class service to both their existing and new clients.

Emma said: “It’s the opportunity to be a big part of the business, to help it grow and to expand the team, which really appealed to me. Emma Clewes has joined Prime Accountants Group as head of tax advisory.

Leading Midlands accountancy firm Prime Accountants Group has appointed Emma Clewes as its new head of tax advisory as part of the company’s continued growth. Emma, who has nearly 20 years’ experience in the industry representing big four and top 20 firms, joined the business at the start of September. Emma, who qualified in 2004, will be responsible for integrating tax matters into the company's service offerings, ensuring seamless and comprehensive assistance to clients. She said she was excited about being part of the management team at Prime,

“Part of that work is to look at what is already here, work with the other directors to look at our strategy and work with clients to offer a wholesome approach, where businesses don’t just see tax as an afterthought. It becomes part of the whole package we offer as business advisors.” Having started her career in smaller firms, Emma said she recognises and appreciates the collaborative and accessible environment they offer. Emma drew an analogy between accountants and a Formula One team, emphasising their essential role in supporting and providing the necessary tools for a driver's success.

“The clients are the drivers. The pit crew and the race engineers are fundamental in keeping the driver on track, with two-way communication making sure the driver has a successful race. It’s a collaboration on every level, and that’s how Prime aims to work with their clients,” she added. Kevin Johns, managing director of Prime Accountants Group, said he was delighted to have Emma on board, recognising her extensive experience and the great value she brings to the team. “Emma brings nearly two decades of experience from across the whole spectrum of accountancy and we’re delighted to have her on board. “We believe our main strengths as a business will help Emma play to her strengths and be a valuable part of our team.” For more information on Prime Accountants, visit https://primeaccountants.co.uk
