What is your Elevator Pitch? I am a Brand Manager and Digital Marketer who partners with SME’s, CEOs, executives, creatives and solopreneurs to develop and grow their personal and professional brands with communications, business, marketing and design strategies. A former Miss British Virgin Islands Universe, I am currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design at Full Sail University. What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur? I came to the realization near the end of my high school tenure that I possessed many skill-sets and talents that weren’t just hobbies, but from which I could earn income I felt that being an entrepreneur would allow me tap into these various talents and better allow me to carve my own path. What led you to your particular business? I am passionate about many fields but I focused mainly on what I believed I was best at. I aligned my educational journey with that path and the rest is history. How did you raise funding for your venture? I funded my business on my own and continue to build step by step.
How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful? I actually do not ‘actively’ market my business. Yes, I have a strong online presence (website, social media, online profiles and features), but my clients advertise for me and my work speaks for itself. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur? 1. Patience 2. Organizational Skills 3. Leadership Skills What entrepreneurial tricks have you discovered to keep you focused and productive in your day-to-day busy schedule? I am a fan of technology and so I utilize a number of software and apps to keep me focused and organized. I’ve also made mandatory rules for myself to take breaks, get rest and to not forget to have fun. What key activities would you recommend entrepreneurs to invest their time in? I strongly recommend daily reading and learning. I cover topics from the Bible to the stock market. This is something I honed in more on since the start of the pandemic and it has drastically improved my overall knowledgebase and execution strategy. Who has been your greatest inspiration? My son Aiden has been my greatest inspiration.
