Randy Meyers, PGA Director of Golf Foothills Parks and Rec. Innovative PGA of America Golf Professional Welcomes Everyone with Creative Programming As the current Director of Golf for Foothills Park and Recreation District, and past Head Golf Professional of both the Meadows Golf Club and Foothills Golf course, Randy Meyers has had a significant impact on the golfing community in Colorado. With hundreds of thousands of golfers impacted during his tenure, Randy's leadership contributions are undeniable. Randy's impact is particularly evident in his role in helping to establish and grow the Player Development of Foothills Golf Course. With 36 holes, (an 18 hole golf course, Executive 9 and a Par 3) and a lighted driving range, and consistently maintained courses, Randy has helped to make the Foothills Golf Course a premier destination for golfers in the region. Moreover, the thousands of lessons that were taught during Randy's tenure have helped to develop golfers of all skill levels, further contributing to the growth of the game in Colorado.

.

For the last two decades Randy has had more rounds of golf pass through his pro-shop then any other golf course in the metro area. One of the major reasons is his strong commitment to his staff and his strong commitment to the business of golf. Making golfers feel like Foothills is their home is no easy task especially when you are talking 120,000 - 147,000 rounds in a given year. Randy, makes sure that his staff is well diverse and represents the golfers and the community that are playing his golf courses. One of the ways Meyers and his staff create golfers is by walking them to the

“The beauty of it is its first tee after instruction. He found that many people were participating in really validation of the instruction but, for their own reasons, were not making the transition to playing a round. “Everybody remembers their first time hitting a golf ball and staff that we have put hitting the green. Everybody remembers their first round of golf, ever.” While back to this fundamental idea, Randy and his staff have drastically together here... I‘m really getting improved the transition rate from instruction to playing. blessed to have the staff that I have.“
