Στο φετινό BaselWorld, η Rolex εντυπωσίασε ξανά το πιστό κοινό της παρουσιάζοντας, μεταξύ άλλων, το νέο της YachtMaster, στο οποίο συνδυάζονται για πρώτη φορά το στιβαρό ατσάλι με τον ροζ χρυσό Everose – το αποκλειστικό κράμα 18Κ της manufacture. Στα 40mm, η κάσα του φέρει διαβαθμισμένη περιστρεφόμενη στεφάνη αμφίδρομης κατεύθυνσης και αντι-χαρακτικό κρύσταλλο ζαφειριού με φακό Cyclops. Εντός της χτυπά ο γνωστός μας αυτόματος Caliber 3135, ένας από τους πιο επιτυχημένους μηχανισμούς της manufacture ο οποίος, από το 1988 οπότε δημιουργήθηκε, έχει εξοπλίσει ουκ ολίγα μοντέλα της – από κλασικά Datejust μέχρι ultra δυναμικά Submariner. Βελτιωμένος, εδώ, με αντι-μαγνητικό hairspring από Parachrom, προσφέρει power reserve 48 ωρών και ακρίβεια με μάξιμουμ απόκλιση τα -2/+2 δευτερόλεπτα/ημέρα, όπως εγγυάται και η πράσινη σφραγίδα «Superlative Chronometer Certified» που συνοδεύει το ρολόι. Σε αγαστό συνδυασμό με το δίχρωμο μπρασελέ, την κάσα και τη στεφάνη, το καντράν είναι στο χρώμα της σοκολάτας και φέρει ενδείξεις και δείκτες από ροζ χρυσό, ενισχυμένους με φωσφορίζον Chromalight.

During this year’s BaselWorld, Rolex once again impressed its loyal audience by presenting -among others- its new Yacht-Master, which for the first time combines the durability of steel with the elegance of Everose gold - the manufacture’s exclusive patented 18K alloy. At a width of 40mm, the case bears a graduated bidirectional rotating bezel and a virtually scratchproof sapphire crystal fitted with a Cyclops lens. Within it beats the self-winding Caliber 3135, one of the manufacture’s most successful movements, equipping a wide range of models since its creation in 1988 - from the classic Datejust to the dynamic Submariner. Now improved with the use of an anti-magnetic Parachrom hairspring, it provides a power reserve of 48 hours, while offering a precision in the order of -2/+2 seconds per day, as guaranteed by the green seal of “Superlative Chronometer Certification”, accompanying the watch. The two-tone bracelet perfectly complements the chocolate colored dial, bearing pink gold hands and numerals enhanced with Chromalight for long-lasting luminescence.
