Scholarship Guide: Studying in Finland SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN FINLAND
FINNISH GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP The Finnish government offers scholarships of 3-9 months for Doctoral level studies and research at Finnish universities or public research universities. The Finnish government scholarship pool program is open to young researchers from all academic fields. The scholarship does not apply to master’s level studies, post doctoral studies, or research. •
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who have been at least provisionally accepted either as a visiting Doctoral-level student/researcher, or as a full-time Doctoral degree student. For full eligibility requirements, click here.

AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a monthly allowance of €1,500 EUR. The allowance is sufficient for one person only. However, expenses from travel and insurance are not covered by this scholarship.
