Timeless Values of Confucian Ethical Humanism Adriana Simoncelli Jagiellonian University of Cracow
Today studying Confucius, for a westerner of the twenty-first century, might seem meaningless: what does a Chinese philosopher of 2,500 years ago have to say to us contemporaries? The proposed issue will be examined by means of text analysis and historical method. Keywords: Confucius, rén, lǐ, philosophy, ethics, liberalism.
