With The Right Mindset,

Anything Is Possible THERE ARE POSITIVE, INSPIRING PEOPLE AND THEN THERE’S TURIA PITT.

T

uria sees the glass as neither half full nor half empty. She’s more of “the glass is refillable” kind of person.

Such is her positivity, drive and passion to live the best possible life and be the best possible mum. Mumpreneur caught up with the mother of two for a chat, which provided some fascinating insights into being a mum in biz. Turia’s story is an incredible one that makes anyone wallowing in self-pity get off their butt and start taking action. In 2011, Turia took part in an ultramarathon in Western Australia and was caught in a fierce grassfire. It was a horrific ordeal – she suffered burns to 65% of her body. Doctors weren’t optimistic about her chances of survival. She spent 6 months in hospital and was told she’d never run again. With all due respect, doctors – what would they know? Turia had other plans. First, recovery. She endured 2 years in a compression suit and over 200 surgeries.
