Legal team raises cash for charities Members of an intrepid team of adventurers from a North Wales law firm are limbering up for a gruelling charity fundraiser – taking on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge. Lawyers from Lanyon Bowdler, including a number from the team based in Conwy, will start at 4am on Saturday, 16th July, and by the time the challenge is complete, hopefully less than 24 hours later, the team will have covered a total walking distance of 27.4km and ascended a total of 2,334 metres. The three climbs take in Pen y Fan, Cadair Idris and Snowdon, and the hikers are

Spend over £100 and receive a complimentary bottle of whisky! If you spend £100 at Penderyn’s Llandudno Lloyd St Distillery in July, you will receive a free 35cl bottle of Penderyn’s house-style Madeira finish whisky worth £20. Tours are available seven days a week, and the shop is also open to the public, stocking their full range of bottles. While on the tour you’ll be taken through the exhibition area, the distilling hall, and you’ll finish in their beautiful tasting bar, where you’ll have the chance to experience a sample drink or two. And, at the weekend, Masterclasses are also available. There’s a car park at the rear, accessed via St Mary’s Road off Lloyd St, and if you take the tour, you can leave your car in the car park if you wish to explore Llandudno.
