Join County biologists as we investigate where we can find insects and discuss how they fit into the world around us. As we explore park habitat along trails, we’ll learn about plant and insect identification, ecology, how to protect against harmful insect exposure and more. We’ll also share methods to help you identify and document plants and wildlife. Program held in partnership with PWC Mosquito and Forest Pest Management Branch.

Learn the science behind collecting aquatic or terrestrial insects outdoors and identify important characteristics in a laboratory setting with experienced field biologists. You’ll also learn how to record data and share your observations. Follow up your scientific investigation with a fun craft to showcase your knowledge. Program held in partnership with PWC Mosquito and Forest Pest Management Branch.

This is a versatile archery education program that is fun, rewarding, progressive and —most important —safe. Explore Archery will help strengthen basic archery skills and build confidence throughout the course. Daily activities will be fun, exciting & challenging while improving fundamental skills and earning awards and achievements. Friday will be used as a weather make up day if needed.
