WATER RESOURCES MARKETS

Wastewater and Water Reclamation

Clarification. Disinfection. Aeration. Dewatering. Water reclamation is a complicated business, but a necessary one as water is one of our most precious commodities. Reeves Young utilizes its familiarity with all stages of plant operations to take what’s complicated and make it easy for your team.

Water Treatment

Whether you’re upgrading your plant services or building an entirely new system, Reeves Young’s experience building and modifying groundwater, surface water, raw water intake, and high service stations makes us a natural fit for your water treatment project needs.

Water Innovation

Our team of water experts thinks differently. As the only builder in the country of The WaterHub, an attractive, sustainable, bio-engineered, odor-free, on-site wastewater recycling system, Reeves Young provides your organization the opportunity for significant savings by capturing and treating wastewater on-site.

Pump Stations

Communities grow, which means sanitation needs fluctuate based on use. As a result, water treatment systems are in constant need of improvement, and additional stations are sometimes necessary. Reeves Young provides the technical expertise required to ensure your facilities are functioning at their highest level, and when the need arises for additional resources, we’ll be there.

Transmission Lines

Raw or treated, water is always on the move. No matter where your water needs to travel for treatment or storage, Reeves Young will make sure your pipelines allow it to be transported both safely and efficiently with minimal disruption to the surrounding community.

Dams & Reservoirs

Water retention is a highly technical, weather dependent process that requires an enormous amount of safety and skill. Combining our team’s experience building reservoirs and dams with our ability to self-perform this critical infrastructure component allows our clients a greater measure of project predictability in what is typically an unpredictable environment.

Reeves Young provided design build services for this new 15 MGD sewage pump station. The project included placement of approximately 5,000 CY of cast-in-place concrete, rock excavation, 3,000 LF of force main, and a 48” gravity sewer. Reeves Young installed equipment including submersible pumps, slide gates, odor control system, and a 5-ton bridge crane. This project had a very aggressive schedule set in place by DeKalb County (fast track project required by the Georgia Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division consent order with a 225 calendar day schedule). Construction started with drawings less than 60% complete. The project required daily team coordination, and to meet the aggressive schedule, construction was maintained 24/7. Substantial completion for this project was achieved in 7 months.
