Welcome to the Autumn 'Reset' issue 2020

here won’t be many among the 7.7 billion people on Earth who haven’t been affected in some way by COVID-19, whether it be in a positive or negative way. As Summer ends and lockdown eases, gyms and schools re-open and holidays are booked, businesses and individuals across the globe are turning their attention to the recovery process – and the opportunity it provides to reset and rebuild in a different way. This time has given us the chance to step back and rethink the world we would like to live in and ask ourselves, what can we be doing differently? What does the 'new normal' look like? What are you concerned about, hopeful for or even looking forward to in a changed future? Have you reset your life during lockdown? Maybe you started a new hobby or exercise regime or decided to change your career path. I used lockdown to produce and launch the QueenBee Talks podcast, after months of procrastination! It was so much work and it really threw me out of my comfort zone, but I loved learning something new and creating a platform for local women to share their stories, inspirations and knowledge.

QueenBee magazine

To my delight and amazement it reached number three in the Apple Podcast charts in the first week - so all the hard work was worth it! Search for 'QueenBee Talks' wherever you find your podcasts - there's a brand new episode every Wednesday morning where we aim to inspire, educate and entertain! As well as our own personal changes, we all have a responsibility to be pushing the reset button and looking at how to create well-being for people and for the Earth. Even the smallest change to your lifestyle can make a difference, whether it's switching to reusable shopping bags, shopping more locally, eating less meat or recycling more. This is our biggest ever issue of QueenBee and I really hope you enjoy it! There's plenty of inspiring articles, motivating advice and fashion ideas (now we're finally able to climb out of our joggers and venture out again!). I hope you all have a wonderful Autumn QueenBee will be back just in time for the festive season!
