Switch On @ Silverbirch Avenue As tradition goes, one particular road in Stotfold have been celebrating the countdown to Christmas and welcoming the whole of the community to their street for quite a few years now. If you have never been before, then make sure you pop along to Silverbirch Avenue on Sunday 5th December from 6.30pm. Residents gather to enjoy a few Christmas carols, some light refreshments and welcome everybody to help them count down to the switching on of the Christmas lights in the street. It’s a lovely way to take a stroll and see the wonderful displays put on by the Silverbirch residents. You can also enjoy an extra special visit from Santa and some very helpers.

Donation pots are out and about during the event, with a collection made for Stotfold based ‘The Need Project’ who so desperately need help throughout the whole year in helping families in need within our local community.
