ou may recognize our new Fitness Centre Coordinator, Patrick. He's no stranger to the Fitness Centre and has worked as a Fitness Attendant for 3 years – naturally the perfect fit to help our members with all of their fitness needs. Patrick grew up in the Vancouver area and has embraced the active lifestyle of the city. His love of sports led him to pursue a degree in Human Kinetics. Throughout university he has immersed himself in sports and fitness and was even able to attend the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Professionally, Patrick has been working in the fitness industry for 5 years. He has experience as a strength and conditioning coach and is a certified NASM personal trainer. He loves the community-building aspect of sports and fitness and wants to encourage others to lead an active lifestyle. As we welcome Patrick in his exciting new role, he shares his top tips for helping you maintain a safe workout and offers some reminders for keeping the Fitness Centre a clean and healthy space for our members to enjoy.
