Carolina Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, NC CVMA, is a 501(c)19 non-profit Veterans motorcycle organization. This benefit ride was to help us take care of Veterans in the Sandhills area. There were over $13,000 in raffle prizes to give away during the event. The ride had been postponed due to COVID-19. They honored their AR-15 drawing via social media on April 18th. While the 2020 Memorial Ride and Dedication was rescheduled to Saturday, July 18, 2020. The 2020 NC CVMA 15-1 Memorial Ride and Dedication Benefit Ride honored the North Carolina Alpha/Omega Chapter of the CVMA®. On this beautiful Saturday mornorth
ing, rider’s registration included donations of $20 per rider / $10 per passenger; and everyone starts the day of celebration and honor! Fort Bragg Harley-Davidson started revving their engines early that morning with music, food, beverages, a ton of vendors, and all hands on the throttle. Kickstands were up at 10:30 am and Fort Bragg HarleyDavidson was packed with riders! Everyone set and ready to ride to help others. That’s what bikers do and it’s not something that we just started doing! This is one of the legacies and a vestige of the biker community. NC CVMA 15-1 stood and rode proud as part of that legacy. They continue to show honor and respect in each of their “Veterans helping Veterans” programs.
