ACTIVE TRIP DAY 1: WELCOME TO BONNIE SCOTLAND!

Arrive in Scotland and make your way up North towards Perth/ Pitlochry where you will be spending the following two nights. Depending on your arrival time you might be able to squeeze in a detour to St. Andrews, a historic seaside town which is home to several famous golf courses. 2x overnights in the area of Perth/Pitlochry
DAY 2: MOUNTAIN SAFARI AND CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE
Prepare yourself for your first adventure. Travel from the valley floor to the high ridges by off-road vehicle to explore the stunning surroundings of Aberfeldy. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch and an easy-paced wilderness walk. If you are already in Aberfeldy, you can’t miss a visit to the Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier. Relax at the café with an award winning hot chocolate. Head back to your hotel.
DAY 5: ABERDEEN
Use the day to explore the city of Aberdeen – also known as the ‘Grey City’. Aberdeen has lots to offer. Visit the Maritime Museum which tells the story of the city’s long and often dramatic relationship with the sea, from the earliest days of trading, fishing and shipbuilding, to the discovery of North Sea oil and gas, and Aberdeen’s place today as a leader in global energy transition. The recently re-opened Art Gallery is also worth a visit.
DAY 6: NORTH EAST COAST 250
Today you will explore more of the North East 250. Drive towards Fraserburgh. We recommend making a stop at Newburgh Beach. Take a relaxing stroll on the beach where you might be able to see sunbathing seals. Stop in Fraserburgh for lunch at one of the many fish & chip shops. The next part of your journey takes you West to Elgin. 2x overnights in the area of Elgin/ Aviemore
DAY 7: CAIRNGORMS NATIONAL PARK
Another adventurous day awaits. You have the opportunity to explore the Cairngorms National Park on a bike. A full day bike rental is included. You will also be handed out maps and given suggestions for potential routes.

DAY 3: SNOW ROAD TO ABERDEEN
Today you will travel towards Aberdeen. Take the Snow Road – a less crowded but equally breathtaking route. You will also pass Braemar where we recommend stopping to see the Highland Games Centre and Ballater. Ballater is home to Balmoral Castle which is the summer home of the Royal Family. 3x overnights in the area of Royal Deeside / Aberdeenshire
DAY 4: STAY ACTIVE ON THE WATER

Start your day with a beginner lesson on a Stand-up Paddleboard (option to upgrade to a 3 hours Dunnottar Castle Tour for more experienced paddlers). The Lesson will take place in Stonehavens super safe sheltered Harbour area and if conditions permit the tour will explore further along the coast. We also recommend discovering the old ruins of Dunnottar Castle.

DAY 8: EDINBURGH
Today you will head back to Edinburgh. If time allows stop at the Highland Folk Museum where you can learn more about the life in the Highlands from 1700s to the 1960s or stop at the Dalwhinnie Distillery and join a tour and tasting (not included). 1x overnight in the area of Edinburgh
DAY 9: DEPARTURE
It’s time to say good bye and head back home. Depending on your departure time you might be able to visit Edinburgh.
