DAY 2: DUNKELD – HEART OF SCOTLAND – HIGHLAND CHOCOLATIER - AVIEMORE
You will head north towards Aviemore. Visit Dunkeld an old market town with a long history. Take a stroll along the River Tay. Stop in Pitlochry, one of Scotland’s most beautiful and vibrant places in the heart of Scotland. Thereafter visit Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier and enjoy an award winning “Europe’s Best” hot chocolate. Continue your journey north, we recommend a relaxing dinner at the Old Bridge Inn a traditional pub in Aviemore. 2x overnights in the Aviemore/Inverness area.

The Speyside should be on the agenda for today. It is home to the highest number of whisky distilleries in Scotland, with well over 60 at present. And you will even have the chance to visit castles and Johnston’s of Elgin, a working cashmere mill.

You should include a quick visit to Inverness. It’s considered as the capital of the Highlands. Continue towards Thurso. Brace yourself for rugged landscapes and a stunning coastline.
