Founder - Global Beauty Secrets A graduate from Jai Hind College, Mumbai, Aishwarya pursued her Post Graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from Xavier’s Institute of Communication, Mumbai. After a short stint at Times of India and CNBC TV 18, Aishwarya joined the family business in June 2016 as Director of the Aishwarya Group and went on to curate Global Beauty Secrets. Vision: I think one interesting conversation that is gaining popularity in the wellness industry is the concept of holistic beauty and I am glad the outlook on beauty is changing from just looking good, to feeling good inside out. People are beginning to understand that beauty is the oneness of mind, body, and soul. I think that as an industry and as a collective, we must strive to help people achieve this state through our products or services.

Director - Time Machine Salon & Academy, Mumbai Shine holds City & Guilds certification level 2 diplomas in women’s and men’s hairdressing as well as in make-up. She has also done men’s hairdressing from London School of Barbering; Professional Hairdressing Course from BBLUNT; and a professional make-up course from FAT MU. Vision: Fashion never dies, it keeps evolving. As hairdressers and make-up artists, we have the power to set fashion trends for the future, so they could get further inspirations and keep evolving.

Licensed Instructor & Cosmetologist, Washington USA Elisha has a Diploma in Hairdressing and a Diploma in Beauty Therapy from IHB Colombo. She is Certified in Advanced Hairstyling, Hair Colouring, Hair Cutting, and Make-up by renowned trainers in India, China, Russia, Armenia, USA, Sweden, Brazil, Poland & South Korea. Vision: The industry needs to upgrade it’s existing education system. We need more standardisation and accreditation to organise the talent pool we have. Soft skills management should be the prime focus for continuing education.
Samay dutta
Director – LOOKS Salon, Delhi With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Samay’s learning curve began at LOOKS Salon - Khan Market. In 2014, he moved to their head-office in Karol Bagh to learn more from a family-owned business perspective and trained under the brand’s founder, Sanjay Dutta himself. Vision: The industry has grown exponentially and so have we. However, the standards are set so high that there are miles to go. In the service industry, it is always a work-in-progress to better ourselves.
