Tell us a little about the background of your firm. Our architectural practice is rooted in the fundamental concept of buildability as well as design. With our extensive experience in the building industry, we identified a market need for a practice that possesses genuine construction expertise and can adeptly balance three key considerations: budget, buildability, and functionality. Our team is wellequipped to create designs that seamlessly integrate these factors, delivering practical and innovative solutions. Our projects are where thoughtful design meets real-world feasibility. What type of projects have you been working on recently? We typically work on single dwelling family homes and our services revolve around gaining planning permission to increase floor area, creating technical design sets for the builders to follow and manage the whole build process from day one all the way to our clients’ move-in day. We have recently embarked on an extraordinary project in the heart of Knightsbridge: transforming the UK’s narrowest house, measuring a mere 80cm deep. Our scheme incorporates a full basement and first-floor extension, unlocking functionality and livability within this limited

Looking back, is there a job that you are most proud of? A project that we are particularly proud of is a basement and ground floor extension located in Hampstead. What sets it apart is the intricate nature of the property itself, as it comprises a ground floor apartment within a terraced property containing two other apartments. The scope of the project entailed excavating 4m below the existing building to create a 50m2 basement, in addition to constructing a wrap-around extension on the ground floor. With great attention to detail, we designed the project to minimize any adverse impact on the neighbouring properties, while simultaneously creating a well-lit and comfortable living space within the constraints of the site. The management of this project necessitated close coordination with numerous third parties to ensure the safe and precise execution of the construction process.
