Born in Chicago (USA) in 1983, Aaron Holloway-Nahum is in the DMus programme at the Guildhall School where he studies, with Julian Anderson. He previously studied at the Royal Academy of Music (MMus) with Philip Cashian, and at Northwestern (BM) with Augusta Read Thomas. Since coming to London in Sept. 2005, Aaron has worked with ensembles and musicians such as Ensemble Amorpha, Ensemble Konvergence, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Academy Soloists, Jac-van Steen, and Pierre Andre Valade, in venues including the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Festival Hall, BBC Maida Vale Studios, the Barbican, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and on the continent in Vienna and Prague. In 2009, Aaron founded the concert series Riot! which has given more than a dozen UK & World premieres. Aaron has conducted numerous contemporary music workshops, and in numerous recording sessions for films and CDs including sessions at Abbey Road Studios, London.
