Still Golden Little Golden Books have been a childhood staple for 75 years Growing up, I loved Little Golden Books. They consisted of The Little Engine That Could and Little Pokey Puppy. Little Golden Books still has those offerings, but now they have so much more. Since they started offering licensed characters, they have broadened their releases to include some of the biggest stories in pop culture. For me there is none bigger than Star Wars. Little Golden Books started releasing books from the original trilogy, then continued with the prequels. They then started to release the “I Am A” series covering everything from princesses to Jedi, droids to pilots. The artwork is beautiful, the stories are light and help expose a younger generation to the wonders of a galaxy far, far away. —LV Kal reads I Am a Stormtroooper before checking out classic and new titles inside the Little Golden Books booth.
