New Title Showcase Books full of words Kal has trouble pronouncing Other sections of the floor with the white bookshelves and meeting tables were already cleared out by the time kids were welcomed into the convention. This section was still full and Oxford Press had a few covers that caught Kal’s eye, including Confluence of Random Thoughts and Living with the Living Dead. I asked Kal to say “nihilistic” for the camera and say whether it would give him nightmares. I can’t even imagine how much darker and more wandering those authors’ thoughts are three years later. —MV
