KID LIKE Normally, we are at the Javits Center on the third day of New York Comic Con. There’s less space to walk let alone sit down on the Show Floor for a catnap. Kal doesn’t remember sticking his face over the railing. “I don’t remember the vent games.” The Quarto Group set up a coloring station (not a slime station to promote their slime cookbooks), but Kal mostly wanted to keep moving—see which characters he recognized and what he might like to purchase. We took home a copy of 51 Things to Do with Egg Cartons.
