“Life’s Roller Coaster” Acrylic On Paper, 11”x17”
ecoming an artist can take many forms. It could be a transformation of oneself in response to external factors or, like in the case of Carole Robitaille, a literal journey that molded her into the individual she is now. Carole was born in Northern Ontario, a sparsely populated but scenic region of Canada. She grew up in Whitby, a town dating back to 1855 with historic streets, green spaces, and cultural sites. After graduating from college, Carole moved to Toronto to work. While she did so mainly for employment, she took night school courses and art workshops to develop her sketching and painting skills. As a result, she was able to hone her craft for many years.
