Locals’ Advice on Fishing Holes: Rainbow Trout: Prevalent in most of the lakes and rivers with Crane Prairie, Wikiup and East Lake presenting trophy opportunities. Brown Trout: Deschutes River, Wickiup, East Lake and Paulina Lake. Brook Trout: Available in many local waters. They grow quite large in Hosmer Lake, Crane Prairie and the Upper Deschutes River.

ounded in 1977, the Sunriver Anglers Club brings together like-minded individuals to protect the natural environment, conserve resources, educate and encourage new fishing enthusiasts, enjoy outdoor activities and exchange fish stories. The Sunriver Anglers Club invites community members to its monthly meetings to discuss topics ranging from fly patterns and fly selection to fishing tactics and habitat restoration projects.
