From the Chaplain As another year of Sacramental preparation draws to a close we can look back and give thanks for the many graces that have emanated from our young men. Year 4 students Ben Caruso, Zac Cobucci, Dalton Di Medio, Harry Goodman, Year 6, Michael Rogers, Jaime Andres Marino and Year 7 candidates, Harvey Hooper, Henry Brown, Nick Amon, James Batholomeusz, and Tom Harkin received the Sacrament of Penance for the first time on 27th May, 2010 in the College Chapel. Father Brendan Dillon (an Old Boy of the College), students, and their families gathered for a joyful celebration of the second Rite of Reconciliation. Term 2 saw us move on to preparing for Confirmation. Twenty students and one staff member were Confirmed by Bishop Peter Elliott at St Anthony’s Church, Glen Huntly on 25th July, 2010. Over several weeks the students explored many aspects of their spiritual journey towards a more adult faith. They delved more deeply into their obligation to become men who use the gifts of the Spirit in service for
others.
