MANHEIM COMMUNITY FARM SHOW PRINCESS CONTEST
Eligibility Rules:
To enter, the contestant must: 1. Princess: age group 6-8 and 9-11 years of age as of October 1, 2021. 2. Attend a Manheim Central School or reside in the district. 3. Exhibit something in the Farm Show prior to the crowning ceremonies (in any department). 4. Have her parent’s or guardian’s consent. 5. Not be the previous year’s Princess. She may re-enter the contest after a one-year break. 6. All Princess Contestants will have a 10-minute interview with the judges. Interviews will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at a time and location to be disclosed. Contestants must be present for interview. They will be judged on: A. Response to questions. B. Appearance/Poise/Neatness - nice outfits are appropriate for the interview. No gowns please. This is not a beauty contest. C. Ability to communicate (articulate/expression/eye contact). D. Application neatness and completeness. 7. Have an adult escort for the crowning ceremony. 8. Attend crowning ceremonies on Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Farm Show stage at approx. 6:45 p.m. 9. Ride in the 2021 Manheim Community Farm Show Parade with the Farm Show Queen and her court on Wednesday evening, October 6, 2021. Rain date Thursday, October 7. This is a MUST if you are a winner. 10. All contestants MUST sign an Photo Release and Code of Conduct at time of interview.
