MULTI-SKILLS Choosing to study a multi-skills course is a great option if you would like to learn a construction trade or engineering skills but are unsure which course to choose. On a multi-skill course you will learn skills, knowledge and behaviours for three subjects. You can then progress onto one of our construction trade or engineering courses from your second year at college to specialise your skills.

If you love practical hands-on activities, then this course is for you! You will learn a wide range of construction skills in bricklaying, plastering and joinery in which you will develop basic skills that will allow you to specialise in a trade of your choice. 3 GCSEs grade 2/E or above or an entry level qualification in a related course.
WHAT’S NEXT?
On completion of this course you could progress onto one of our level 2 construction related course in bricklaying, plastering or carpentry and joinery or look to secure an apprenticeship.
This course will provide you with introductory skills in plumbing, electrical installation and engineering. You will learn about health and safety, electrical circuit installations, hot, cold and drainage plumbing systems and basic engineering skills. 4 GCSEs grade 3/D including English and maths or an entry level qualification in a related course.
WHAT’S NEXT?
After you have completed this course you could progress onto one of our level 2 courses in electrical installation, engineering or plumbing.
