ACRA is an independent, nonreligious non-governmental organization dedicated to development cooperation, specifically rural development. It focuses on poverty alleviation through sustainable, innovative and participatory solutions. Key words of our work are dignity, durability, equity, innovation, justice, participation, respect, responsibility, rights, sobriety, solidarity, transparency and trust. ACRA was born in 1968 and intervenes in five thematic areas: natural resources & environment, water & sanitation, food, education, economic development. We operate in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
