REVIEW // ECLECTIC QUITE SOME TIME AGO we were kindly invited for a treatment in Eclectic though with the ever-changing restrictions, businesses opening/closing it was last week when I got in for my treatment, I love a pamper day typically I would get treatments, massages etc a few times a year, though not being possible with covid I was particularly ready for some TLC. I purposely did not google Eclectic as I wanted to go in with an open mind and no preconceptions, after a nice drive I arrived in Bangor and as first impressions go, I was blown away, not having prior knowledge of the place I was taken aback by the extensive facilities, Nicola proudly gave me a tour, admittedly I assumed what was to the rear of the reception was the extent of the premises so I was super surprised to discover the business was spread over 3 levels, multiple treatment

rooms designed with specific treatments in mind, a studio available for private hire and what I can only describe as a state of the art Pilates room kitted out with professional beds and so much more,
to some places in a similar capacity and on occasion have felt out of place or as if I wasn’t good enough if you know what I mean, well this feeling was completely the opposite, really inviting and relaxed. I booked to have the Aromatherapy Associates Back Massage prior to arrival, once the tour was complete Nicola left me in the capable hands of the front of house, regrettably I never caught their name though they were lovely, we chatted a little while I completed a medical questionnaire and they brought me a miniature chilled bottle of Evian water, it was so cute.
