Egg pie is a sweet Filipino dessert that is slowly baked in a flaky buttery crust and resembles an egg custard. This is one of my favourite baon (snacks) that my mum used to buy for me from our local bakeries.

Pie Crust — 2 ½ cups plain flour — 1 tsp salt — 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled & cut into cubes — ¼ cup - ½ cup cold water — 2 tbsp granulated sugar Filling — 1 ¾ cup evaporated milk — 3 eggs — 1 egg white separated from yolk — 1 tsp vanilla extract — 1 cup granulated sugar
