G100 GLOBAL NETWORKING MEETING in Portugal

etween the 19th and the 22nd of May, the city of Cascais hosted the G100 Global Networking group, in the auditorium of Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, in an event that was attended by around 130 women. The G100, which represents 100 international women leaders from 100 sectors of the economy in 100 countries, is a United Nations partner organization with offices in New Delhi, Geneva, Brussels and New York. It is made up of women who are Nobel laureates, heads of state, ministers, businesswomen, philanthropists, investors, entrepreneurs, corporate and community leaders. This group aims to create an equal, progressive and inclusive environment for women around the world. The event, followed online

by more than 7700 people, was composed by a panel of 5 women among the 100 most influential in the world and representing 5 continents: Europe, Africa, North America, South America and Asia. This year, the Portuguese Linda Pereira, businesswoman and international consultant, president of L&I Communications and CEO of CPL Meetings & was one of the hosts of the event, as she was elected one of the
G100 Global Chairs, ensuring Portugal a place in this group. The other host was António Saraiva, President of the CIP and also elected one of the G100 partners. Guest speakers include Anita Davis-DeFoe (G100 Global Chair Youth Enterprise & Leadership); Annabella Nassetti (G100 Global Chair Design & Lifestyle); Harbeen Arra Rai ( founder and president of G100); Khomotso Mashalane (G100 Global Oneness & Wisdom South Africa), among others.
