Chibi (little) Judo helps children grow in wonderful ways As we jump, run and roll, we develop balance, coordination and confidence And we have fun! We start out learning our names in Japanese then do movement exercises, tumbling and some simple judo techniques that teach us to fall safely . We place a strong emphasis on culture so everyone plays games, sing songs and speaks the language of Japan We learn to “nete” (lie down) and to “tonde “ (leap) like a “raion” (lion) In our positive learning environment we bow politely to Sensei (teacher) and to one another At Hanabi, respect comes as naturally as smiling Judo uniform available from instructor for $95

David Howie cultivated a deep love for creativity, finding joy in creating art and games It wasn’t until taking a class in college, however, that he encountered a new, dynamic way to channel his creative spirit—coding! After graduating from college, driven by a resolute commitment to making a difference, he created his own coding curriculum and began traveling to local schools to promote it
Fast forward and his company, Athena Coding has taught thousands of students with its engaging curriculums, broadening their horizons beyond coding to chess, art, engineering and more At the heart of Athena Coding is a powerful mission: to unlock the potential in every student through a collaborative, high-energy programming education Whether a beginner exploring coding for the first time, a student augmenting their in-school programming curriculum, or a precocious coder aiming to hone their skills, Athena Coding is there to support, inspire, and guide!

Delia Schletter came to line dance late in life, but now claims to be an addict She had previous dance experience, having been an avid folk dancer in the early 1970s while attending graduate school But dancing, at that time, came to a halt when she started working full time It wasn’t until 2015 after she had retired (and re-retired!) that she found her passion in something that she had never heard of before—line dance It was being taught at a local senior center She then went searching for as many line dance teaching locations that she could find, including several that taught Soul Line Dance All of this led her to attend the Las Vegas Dance Explosion, a six-day event which hosts a crowd of ~1500 people from 27 countries After that, Delia was officially hooked!
Delia is now thrilled to introduce and entice others into the joy of her life by teaching beginning level line dance in three local cities Delia knows, deep in her being, that in addition to the physical and mental benefits of line dance, it is just plain FUN!
