FARM DINNER McAllen
Friday, March 4, the Food Bank RGV held its annual Farm Dinner. The sold-out event began with a cocktail hour outdoors and a tour of Food Bank RGV’s, Gem Valley Community Garden and Farm. Guests enjoyed a five-course meal prepared by Chef Larry Delgado and Jessica Delgado’s “Delgado Collec tive” team composed of members from house. wine. and bistro, SALT New American Table, and Salomé on Main. Thanks to the Farm Dinner sponsors and guests, over $35,000 was raised to support the growth of the Food Bank RGV ’s community garden program and further nutrition education in the RGV community.
