Get the adrenaline pumping on Australia’s longest rail path, the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, a 161km taxing run between the city of Ipswich and the rural town of Yarraman. Or follow in the footsteps of Queensland pioneers on Getaway Trekking & Adventures’ Packers’ Ghost Trek multi-day walk that pairs determined hikers with a team of skilled donkeys and follows tracks used by packers and drovers in the late 1800s. Opera evening
A beautiful Evening of Opera Under the Stars was held recently at the home of Sanctuary Cove residents Peter and Brenda Ramsay. The event featured beautiful and bubbly Opera Queensland soprano Eva Kong along with the velvet voice of international tenor Rosario La Spina accompanied by pianist John Wood. A special programme of popular arias, musical theatre and classic songs ensured that there was something for everyone.
