A
rturo Morocho, owner of Casa Arturo Bistro in Little Falls, loves creating fine cuisine. But he also enjoys serving exquisitely prepared meals to his loyal and appreciative customers. On April 17, 2022, Casa Arturo Bistro recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, despite the past few years of the pandemic. Offering superb food contributes to the restaurant’s success, but Morocho credits his wonderful customers as the backbone of the restaurant. “The customers’ word of mouth in supporting our restaurant with positive reviews and recommendations helped our restaurant survive critical times. We would not be where we are today without our good customers,” says Morocho. Casa Arturo Bistro specializes in continental Italian cuisine from all regions in Italy. The restaurant offers a standard menu and focuses on homestyle cooking with a creative flair. The chefs add seasonal touches for enhanced flavors: artichokes make the best salads; appetizers use seasonal selections, pumpkin-inspired platters flourish in the fall, and zucchini offerings abound in the spring and summer. The restaurant also utilizes the considerable talents of family members. Morocho’s mother and sister assist him in the kitchen, preparing fresh pasta, such as gnocchi, from scratch. Morocho is also an involved team member doing whatever it takes to ensure the restaurant’s smooth operations. “I am a multi-tasker,” he says. “Whatever I need to do, I do. I do everything from cooking, dishwashing, bussing, and waiting on tables. That is how much I care for our business.” Casa Arturo Bistro is open Tuesday through Sunday, with lunch and dinner served on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. There is a separate lunch menu during the week and an early bird Spring 2022
menu for dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4–6pm. Guests select dinner choices on Saturday and Sunday. For added ambiance in the warmer weather of spring, summer, and early fall, diners may enjoy their meals on the Outdoor Patio. Customers may also opt for private parties with selected fares at Casa Arturo Bistro. Customers enjoy memorable events in the main dining room on Saturdays and Sundays in elegant surroundings.
