Surrounding this open floor plan are private bedrooms that have a private bathroom and handicappedaccessible shower., and wall-to-wall windows on one side.
As inviting as the bedrooms are, the Sycamore team aims to get the residents out of their rooms and engaged. According to Mr. Molfetta, “The goal here is to provide a fulfilling and meaningful experience. Our team leads with their heart which helps create the right culture and environment for our residents to succeed”. Sycamore has invested in their communities so residents can enjoy high quality amenities in the convenience of their own neighborhood. “We’ve created a luxury health care environment where hospitality meets healthcare”, says Molfetta. Sycamore residents enjoy a wide range of services, including a full theater experience with surround sound, an aquatic therapy pool, a game of bocce in the outside courtyard, or a round of pool in the game room. There is also a beauty salon/barbershop offering spa services, and a full service bar / lounge for socializing and entertainment.
A final unique feature of Sycamore Living is its incorporation of technology into its residents’ daily lives. They believe residents are happiest when they stay connected to those they love. The Lifestyle Engagement team provides education to resident and families on the use of devices such as Amazon Alexa and other web-based technologies. “Even before the pandemic, we had put Amazon Alexa onto every nightstand to ensure our residents can see and speak to those they care about wheneverthey want” says Molfetta. As a Wellness Community, Sycamore takes the health of its residents very seriously: “We’ve partnered with Atlantic Health System and are well-located between Morristown and RWJ Barnabas Medical Centers. We have credentialed M.D.s on staff and skilled nursing care on the premises 24/7.”
