BOOK REVIEW YOU AND ME. SIBLINGS Author: Elisenda Roca From the reader report by: Rodrigo Petronio A beautiful book, simple and very good for cross-cutting themes related to the coexistence between siblings, birth of new siblings, how to deal with differences and possible conflicts. It alternates the voices/talks between the older sister and the little brother who has just arrived. This alternation is often regular, one page for each speech/point of view. Illustrations are very sober and totally match the text’s proposal. Elisenda Roca (Barcelona, 1963) is a journalist and writer. She worked in different radio, television and press media. Together with Carlota Basil she published Vamos ser pais and O que posso comer estando grávida?, books that were very well-accepted by readers. The series has six volumes already and has been translated into English, Korean, Chinese, and other languages. Among her latest published titles are two illustrated books: A pequena Amelia, with illustrations by Paula Bonet, and Você e eu - a história mais bonita do mundo, with illustrations by Guridi.
