En aquest habitatge al recinte del Golf PGA de Caldes de Malavella hem gaudit fent instal·lacions de fotovoltaica (8 kws) que abasteixen d’energia l’habitatge.

Això ho hem combinat amb una bomba de calor CLAUSIUS geotèrmica (7 perforacions).

Escalfem, refresquem i produïm aigua calenta sanitària, a més a més, escalfem l’aigua de la piscina exterior. Proveïm amb qualitat de vida a l’experiència de residir en aquest entorn de golf.

In this home on the grounds of the Golf PGA de Caldes de Malavella we installed a photovoltaic system (8kW) to supply energy to the house and combined this with a geothermal heat pump CLAUSIUS (7 boreholes). We heat, cool and produce sanitary hot water, in addition to heating the water in the outdoor pool.

We aim to provide quality of life to the experience of residing in this unique golf environment.

Dans cette maison sur le golf PGA de Caldes de Malavella, nous avons installé un système photovoltaïque (8 kW) qui fournit le logement en énergie.

Nous l’avons couplé à une pompe à chaleur CLAUSIUS géothermique (7 perforations).

Ainsi, nous chauffons, refroidissons et produisons de l’eau chaude sanitaire, en plus de chauffer l’eau de la piscine extérieure. Notre objectif est d’apporter confort et qualité de vie dans ce cadre si particulier qu’est le golf.

Un format adaptable a petits locals i elements efímers com contenidors i casetes mòbils.

Paníac is a new gastronomic concept developped during the pandemia constraints. An open kitchen without space to consume inside the premises, only designed for delivery and takeaway. This innovative format adapts to small premise and ephimeral elements like containers and Mobile homes.

Paníac est le nouveau concept de restauration qui s’impose en ces temps de pandémie. Une cuisine ouverte sans espace pour consommer sur place, exclusivement conçue pour la livraison et la vente à emporter. Un format qui s’adapte aux petits locaux et aux structures éphémères, comme les containers et les mobil-homes.

With this project, a new fast food concept is born, where the quality of the product transforms the concept from fast food to fast good.

Une proposition esthétique et graphique, pleine de force et de personnalité, avec un aspect industriel inspiré d’un kiosque de rue mais qui se situe dans un local.

Avec ce projet, c’est une nouvelle proposition de restauration rapide qui voit le jour, où la qualité du produit fait évoluer le concept de fast-food à fastgood.

Explicació: perquè el mercat anglosaxó és totalment diferent al nostre. Si pots explicar el que és important i el que no, el client podrà comprendre millor el nostre sistema i pensarà: “aquí es fan les coses diferent, ni millor, ni pitjor, però sí d’una altra manera, i com a mínim el meu advocat m’ho deixa clar”. La relació ha de ser directa, personal, fluida i honesta. Directa amb el client; fluida en el sentit que a vegades no es poden contestar els mails el mateix dia, però sí com més aviat millor, per estalviar sorpreses; personal en el sentit que el client vegi que et dediques a ell.

Foreign clients are looking for commitment, dedication and clear explanation. Commitment: the client must experience you are there for him. “Per nosaltres ha estat un any amb menys operacions en el cas de les vendes, és clar. En lloguers hem recuperat el mateix nivell de 2019…i fins i tot l’hem superat un xic. Però en vendes sí que hem fet menys. El que passa és que ens hem mogut en franges més altes de preu, tant en venda com en lloguer, però fonamentalment en venda, amb la qual cosa el nostre impacte de facturació ha estat menor. Jo diria que una de les característiques més importants que hem vist és la voluntat de sortir de la ciutat. Es va veure molt al juny i juliol, i s’ha mantingut durant tot l’any. Creiem que el 2021 podria ser una tendència predominant que continués.”

“For us it has been a year of decreased operations regarding sales. On rentals we have recovered to the same level as 2019 .. we even increased a little bit.

What happened? We have moved on higher price levels, both on the sales and rentals but mostly on sales. So the impact on billing has been smaller.

I would say that one of the main trends we have seen is people wanting to exit the city. We saw it a lot in June and July and it kept going throughout the rest of the year. We think in 2021 this could be a prevailing trend”.

Arquitecte Toni Riba: En aquest moment existeix una projecció cap a la funcionalitat, la tecnologia i l’automatització. Però per altra banda torna aquesta mirada cap a les coses que sempre han estat amb nosaltres, que ens fan sentir bé. Saber trobar aquesta combinació, aquest equilibri, respòn al moment actual.

Arquitecte Pere Buil: Ens interessa aquesta dualitat. La vida és diferent que anys enrere i per tant la tipologia de les vivendes i la distribució dels espais s’ha de repensar. Per altra banda, hi ha quelcom més emocional i tàctil del que s’ha de tenir cura.

Cambiar l’escala a un espai públic Arquitecta Sophia Gruzdys: El replantejament a l’espai úblic del Born va crear el repte de cambiar l’escala a nivell públic.

Arquitecte Toni Riba “La plaça té una funció més de ciutat, de grans esdeveniments, de mostar l’edifici, el patrimoni del Born. En canvi, aquests carrers els vam pensar clarament per a veïns. Els vam emplenar d’arbres perquè hi hagués ombra, de bancs, d’espais de joc…”

Una parella vol tornar a reformar un pis gran, -ja s’havia fet 10 anys enrere- per a canviar-li l’escala i fer-lo més acollidor i personal.

La reforma consisteix en la transformació dels espais de circulació -aquells que estructuren els recorreguts pel cor de la casa- tot mantenint la resta del pis com estava.

A large apartment that was renovated 10 years ago was refurbished to make it more welcoming and personal.

The renovation consisted of transforming the circulation areas that run through the heart of the apartment but keeping the remaining floorplan as is.

Un couple souhaite réagencer un grand appartement - qui avait déjà été rénové il y a dix ans -, afin de le rendre plus cosy et d’en modifier la sensation d’espace.

La rénovation consiste à transformer les espaces de circulation - ceux-là mêmes qui structurent le parcours au cœur de l’appartement –, tout en maintenant le reste en l’état.

Una successió de 4 vestíbuls de fusta, amb parets gruixudes per a contenir emmagatzematge i vitrines per a objectes, comunicats per passadissos baixos i estrets. Sístole i diàstole.

Cada vestíbul està relacionat amb un tipus d’ús: el primer amb l’accés i els espais de servei (celobert, armari d’emmagatzematge); el segon, amb la cuina; el tercer, amb la zona de dia (sala-menjador i bany); el darrer, amb les habitacions.

L’habitatge té al davant una enorme terrassa, gairebé excessiva, que es colonitza mitjançant una tarima emmarcada per una estructura de fusta per a tendal, generant així un espai exterior propi, contingut i acollidor.

A succession of 4 wooden lobbies, with thick walls to hold storage and display cabinets for personal objects are connected through low and narrow corridors. Systole and diastole.

Each lobby is related to the type of use: the first with access and service spaces (patio and storage closet); the second, with the kitchen; the third with the day zone (living room and bathroom); and the last, with the bedrooms.

Fronting the house is a huge terrace, colonized with a platform framed by a wooden structed for an awning which generates its own outdoor space both content and welcoming.

Une succession de 4 vestibules en bois aux parois épaisses utilisés comme espaces de rangement et vitrines pour y exposer des objets, le tout relié par des passages bas et étroits. Systole et diastole. Chaque vestibule est lié à un usage précis : le premier, aux zones de service (puits de lumière, armoire de rangement) ; le deuxième, à la cuisine ; le troisième, à l’espace de vie (salle à manger-salon et la salle de bains) ; et le quatrième, aux chambres.

Une terrasse aménagée, vraiment immense, borde l’appartement. Grâce à une pergola en bois avec toile, elle se convertit en un véritable espace extérieur, agréable et cosy.

“Els anys d’experiència permeten aportar solucions i definir el millor sistema constructiu en fusta per a cada projecte” “La construcció amb fusta s’ajusta al sentit de la nova normativa Europea: és molt competitiva quan es contemplen estalvi energètic i eficiència” Sophia Gruzdys: Què necessito saber sobre treballar amb fusta?

Max Rutgers: Si es tracta d’un avantprojecte que encara no està desenvolupat podriem colaborar concebent directament la casa a partir del material de construcció; si és un projecte que ja tens preparat, veiem com plantejar una estructura de fusta sense canviar els conceptes ni els acabats. És difícil donar una pauta exacta, la experiència dels anys treballats permeten veure ràpidament quina solució aportar en cada cas.

Mar Puig: A mi m’agradaria saber com veus la fusta com a resposta a la nova normativa NZ, edificis Near Zero Building.

Max Rutgers: L’edificació en fusta tant de vivendes unifamiliars com de plurifamiliars té molt futur. Les noves normatives contemplen l’eficiència energètica i la reducció d’emisions de CO2, la qual cosa dóna molts avantatges a la fusta. És un material de construcció ideal, ja que a més del confort que proporciona, emmagatzema CO2 durant el seu creixement.

It is difficult to give an exact guideline, the experience of years working allows us to quickly see what solution to provide in each case.

Mar Puig: I would like know how you see wood construction in response to the new NZ buildings Near Zero Building regulation.

Max Rutgers: Wood construction in single-family and multi-family homes has a great future, the new regulations contemplate energy efficiency and the reduction of CO2 emissions, which gives many advantages to wood. It is an ideal construction material, since in addition to the comfort it provides, it stores CO2 during its growth.

Sophia Gruzdys i Mar Puig indaguen sobre les renúncies i els guanys d’un projecte adaptat per Max a partir d’un disseny original sense fusta.

Arquitecta Sophia Gruzdys: A què es va haver de renunciar en aquest projecte?

L’arquitecte que va dissenyar el projecte no va haver de renunciar a cap acabat.

Quan veiem una foto de la casa acabada, és fidel al render que s’havia proposat al principi.

Arquitecta Mar Puig: Els clients van quedar conformes?

El més important és la satisfacció dels clients. Cada vegada que els veig em recalquen com de bé hi estan a casa.

Em comenten: “Tota la gent que ens visita, amics a fer àpats o els nostres fills que venen de vacances, recalquen que poden notar el benestar que proporciona la casa i que no perceben les variacions de temperatura que habitualment trobem quan ens desplacem en una casa convencional”. Realment es senten molt a gust en aquesta vivenda que inicialment no estava pensada amb estructura de fusta, però que va acabar amb unes prestacions molt més altes.

Architect Sophia Gruzdys: What did you have to forfeit on this project?

The architect who designed the project did not have to relinquish any finishing’s. When we saw a photo of the finished house it is faithful to the render that was proposed at the beginning.

Architect Mar Puig: Were the clients satisfied?

The greatest achievement is customer satisfaction and comfort. Every time I see the client, they emphasize to me how much they enjoy the home. They tell me: “All the people who visit us, friends over to eat or our children who come on vacation, all emphasize that they notice the well-being that wood provides and they do not perceive the variations in temperature that we usually find when moving around in a conventional house” The clients are very comfortable in the house, even thou it was not designed with a wooden structure we adapted it and our client is very satisfied.

Façana natural “Repte a una casa de fusta a La Floresta: adaptar la façana prevista en pi tractat a cedre natural del Montseny” Les arquitectes Sophia Gruzdys i Mar Puig de la Bellacasa van dialogar amb Max Rutgers sobre un projecte on aconseguí col·locar una fusta local (crescuda a 50km de l’obra) per a un revestiment d’exterior.

Arquitecta Sophia Gruzdys: Quin va ser el repte, Max? Tot i que la preocupació i les preguntes sobre el manteniment de les façanes de fusta són recurrents, veig que les cases de construcció convencional acostumen a donar més problemes com ara esquerdes, humitats amb degradació de pintura, etcètera.

La taula està col·locada en una junta oberta sobre un rastrell generós que garantitza una bona ventilació de les lames, i així la seva duració.

El revestiment es va deixar en cru, sense cap producte d’acabat, perquè així vagi agafant la seva pàtina gris, que integrarà cada vegada més la vivenda en el seu entorn natural. La façana s’anirà embellint amb el temps sense requerir cap manteniment.

Emprar un producte de proximitat, el cedre, millora la qualitat olfativa i el confort d’aquesta vivenda de fusta The use of a local product, cedar, improves the olfactory quality and comfort of this wooden house.

Arquitecta Mar Puig: I com vas convèncer la clienta?

Va ser divertit! Encara que es valorava allò natural, la cara vista a tall de serra, la textura, el caràcter, etcètera, el moment en què la vaig convèncer va ser fent-li olorar les mostres.

Després d’una ganyota provocada per la fusta tractada, quan va olorar el perfum del cedre va fer “mmm…” i des d’aquell instant no hi va haver més dubtes.

A dia d’avui la clienta està encantada amb la casa. Cada vegada que plou l’olor es fa més potent i els voltants fant olor de cedre.

Natural façade “The challenge with a wooden house in La Floresta: Adapt the façade planned in treated pine to natural cedar from Montseny “ The architects Sophia Gruzdys and Mar Puig de la Bellacasa spoke with Max Rutgers about a project where he instilled confidence with his client that placing a local wood for an exterior cladding was the way to go.

Architect Sophia Gruzdys: What was the challenge Max? Although concerns and questions about maintenance of wooden façades are recurrent, I see that houses of conventional construction tend to have many problems such as cracks, damp and paint degradation, etc …

The board is placed in an open joint on a generous groove that guarantees good ventilation of the slats, increasing their durability.

The cladding was left raw, without a finishing product so that it can take on its grey patina, that will increasingly integrate this home into its natural environment. This façade will be embellished over time without requiring any maintenance.

Architect Mar Puig: And how did you convince the client?

It was fun! Although she valued the natural, the saw-cut face, the texture, the character, etc ... the moment she was convinced was when she smelt the samples.

The treated wood caused a frown, but the pleasant perfume of the cedar made a “mmm” and from that moment there were no more doubts.

Today the client is delighted with her house and every time it rains this smell becomes more powerful and all the surrounding smells of cedar.

Com vam actuar? Vam parlar amb el proveïdor i, efectivament, era culpa de l’oli. Vam trucar a tots els clients als quals els haviem fet tarimes i els havíem aplicat aquest oli i tots tenien el mateix problema”.

After receiving a call from a client regarding a white layer appearing on his balcony flooring, we started investigating the problem and discovered that other clients were also experiencing the same trouble. We spoke to the supplier and ascertained that it was the protective oil causing the fault.

“Com ho vam resoldre? En menys de dues setmanes ja teníem restaurades totes les tarimes a les quals havíem aplicat aquest tipus d’oli. En total van ser més de 400 metres quadrats. Ho vam resoldre ràpid. Tots els clients van quedar contents amb la rapidesa amb què vam actuar”.

In less than two weeks we had restored all the flooring that this type of oil had been applied to, in total more than 400m2 of flooring. We solved it fast and without fuss, all our customers were happy with the speed in which we fixed the problem and our level of customer service.

Ens va costar moltíssim, però al final no només el vam trobar, si no que a més ens vam topar amb l’empresa que, anys enrere, havia fet la instal·lació original”.

Twin floors “Finding a similar floor was a challenge. We moved heaven and earth and even found the original installers of the project” When foreign clients bought a home that had been closed for an extended length of time, they hired us to work on the floors throughout the home. They loved the original floors but because of time and neglect, there were unrecoverable slats, the parquet could no longer be restored. Through research we found the same parquet and the original company that had done the installation years ago.

The client also wanted to brighten the overall feel, to make the house feel lighter, we did pigment tests until we found a shade that the client was happy with.

Stocco és fabricant de disseny italià de mobiliari de bany, del qual Hisom en té la distribució exclusiva a Espanya, Portugal i Andorra.

A les últimes edicions de la fira de Milà presenta un nou projecte, Tailormade, una sèrie de catàlegs amb col·leccions orientades al disseny per part de l’interiorista o decorador.

Parlem d’un producte molt personalitzable, en el qual no existeix estàndard i es creen projectes per a cada una de les exigències del decorador.

Todes les col·leccions s’adapten, i otorguen la possibilitat de treballar amb els últims materials en tendència com el fènix o l’hpl.

Com a novetat en la fabricació, el taulell de cuina i l’estructura del moble és una sola peça. És molt lleugera, doncs l’element emprat és el fènix, un dels materials en tendència els últims anys.

Això ens permet tenir una col·lecció que podem desenvolupar en un únic color.

Projects are created for each of the decorator’s requirements” Stocco is the Italian designer bathroom furniture manufacturer, of which Hisom has the exclusive distribution for all of Spain, Portugal and Andorra.

In the latest editions of the Milan Fair, Stucco presented a new project, ‘Tailormade’, a series of catalogues with collections that are oriented to design.

We are talking about a highly customizable product where a standard product does not exist, and the projects are created for each of the decorator’s requirements. All these collections are tailored. They offer the possibility of working with the latest material trends such as “Fénix” or “HPL”.

A novel element in manufacture at the moment is the countertop and the structure of the furniture as a single piece. It is very light, since the element used is “Fénix”, one of the materials in trend over recent years. This allows us to have a collection that we can develop in a single colour.

These collections are characteristics of the brand, which gives it a strong identity. This way we manage to enhance the fronts, with thermo-treated wood and we can combine different surfaces.

Interior designer Leo Machicao recalls how, thanks to his participation on a kitchen design, a kitchen manufacturer not only recognized a mistake, they also substituded doors and front desks for a superior quality.

“Totes les portes d’armari i frontals de calaixos de la cuina es van substituir en categoria superior sense cost adicional” Aquest proveïdor, un fabricant de mòduls de cuina industrialitzats, amb mesures preestablertes, va deixar clar que tenen diverses qualitats i que la que van aplicar a aquesta cuina semblava suficient.

En aquest projecte, per un problema de fabricació, la costura deixava aquesta funda oberta, quan havia de ser tancada i perfecta. Tota la cuina es va fabricar amb aquest tipus de defecte. Gràcies a la nostra participació el fabricant va assumir l’error. Es van substituir tots els elements per uns altres de qualitat superior per completar el projecte.

Thanks to our participation, the manufacturer assumed the manufacturing error. All the defectous elements were substituded by other superior quality ones and so we were able to complete this project .

Buttercup és una cafeteria degustació que, igual que el seu germà gran “Les Magnòlies”, pren el nom d’una flor i, igual que aquestes, es desplega per mostrarse al públic com a nou lloc de referència per a foodies a la recerca dels dolços més exclusius.

Així com les flors parteixen d’una llavor que concentra en una forma pura tota la bellesa posterior, el projecte es nodreix també d’aquesta dualitat.

L’espai central (obrador i taulell) es caracteritza per l’ordre i la rigidesa. Aquí dominen la línia recta, la contenció cromàtica i els materials brillants i tacte fred. Una mena de laboratori on succeeix la ciència de la pastisseria.

Els dos menjadors laterals són l’altra cara de la moneda. La ciència dona pas a la màgia. La carta de color es torna audaç: blau fosc i groc virolat. Les línies es corben i els materials es tornen mats i càlids. I com a element estrella, els llums dissenyats específicament per a l’ocasió, lleugers arcs de circumferència suspesos sobre els comensals.

Buttercup is a tasting café that, like her older sister “Les Magnolias”, takes her name from a flower and, like them, it unfolds to show the public a new place of reference for foodies looking for the most exclusive sweets.

Just as flowers start from a seed that concentrate in a pure form of beauty this project nourishes from this duality as well.

The central space (workshop and counter) is characterized by order and rigidity. Here a straight line dominates, along with bright and tactical materials and a chromatic isolation. A kind of laboratory where the science is pastry.

The two side dining rooms are the flip side of the coin.

Science gives way to magic. The colour chart becomes bold: dark blue and virulent yellow. The lines are curved, and the materials become soft and warm. And as the star element, lights are specifically designed for the occasion, with lightweight circumferential arcs suspended over the diners.

Buttercup est un atelier de dégustation de café qui, comme son grand frère Les Magnòlies, porte le nom d’une fleur. A l’image de ces derniers, il se déploie pour offrir un nouvel espace de référence pour les gourmets à la recherche des douceurs les plus exclusives.

Ainsi, à la manière des fleurs, qui proviennent d’une graine concentrant en une forme pure leur future beauté, ce projet se nourrit de cette dualité.

L’espace central (atelier et comptoir) se caractérise par l’ordre et une rigueur formelle.

Ici, les éléments dominants sont la ligne droite, la retenue chromatique, les matériaux aux finitions brillantes et toucher froid. Une sorte de laboratoire où la science de la pâtisserie s’exerce.

Les deux salles à manger offrent un tout autre visage. La science laisse place à la magie. La carte des couleurs se montre audacieuse, avec du bleu foncé et du jaune vif. Les lignes sont courbes, et les matériaux mats et chauds Les éclairages aux formes arrondies, conçus spécialement pour le lieu, fusent au-dessus des tables comme des étoiles.

Segons Canadell, si Catalunya continua amb la revolució tecnològica, en el transcurs de 10 a 20 anys, pot arribar a ser com Dinamarca, Holanda, Finlàndia o Suècia, on existeix una economia de valor afegit basada en la formació i la transformació de les tecnologies TIC. Per la seva banda, Carme Artigas (secretaria d’Estat de Digitalització i Intel.ligència Artificial) va nombrar quatre sectors molt importants com la sanitat digital, el turisme intel.ligent, l’agroalimentació tecnològica, la mobilitat sostenible i el comerç electrònic i va remarcar la idea de rellençar l’economia a través de la digitalització de les petites i mitjanes empreses.
