THE GIRLS’ NETWORK Redcar & Cleveland College provides female students with the opportunity to take part in The Girls’ Network, Tees Valley. This is a mentoring programme which allows a selection of our students to work with some of the leading businesswomen in the area. Students meet regularly with their mentor and create plans for what they would like to achieve through the programme, such as building confidence, developing a professional network or even to just have someone to look up to and get advice from. Angel is currently studying our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. She said; ‘‘The Girls’ Network has helped me so much as it has really boosted my confidence.
